Get Caught Guil-Tea at giovane café

Fall flavours are officially in season and giovane café has launched two exciting new beverages to kick start the change in temperature.

October 2nd, 2019

The ‘Sneaky Negroni‘ is a twist on a classic Italian cocktail, as it is served on tap in a tea mug and garnished with a orange peel inside a tea bag. The traditional Negroni was created in Florence, Italy in 1920 when Count Camillo Negroni, asked his local bartender to add some gin to the then-trendy Americano cocktail. The drink quickly gained popularity as a pre-dinner aperitif or palate-cleanser. The cocktail is now available exclusively at giovane for dine-in guests only.

Also available on tap is a ‘Ginger Kombucha‘, brewed by Oddity Kombucha, a Mount Pleasant based kombucha brewery. The fermented tea beverage has recently gained popularity (though it has been around for thousands of years) amongst health enthusiasts for its beneficial probiotics and antioxidants. Kombucha is a fermented, slightly alcoholic, sweetened black or green tea drink that is thought to have originated from China or Japan. The on tap beverage can be enjoyed to-go or inside the cafe.

SNEAKY NEGRONI $9 small / $16 large
