The Vancouver Canucks came out on top for their first-round series against the Nashville Predators, and are moving ahead into the second round against the Edmonton Oilers starting Wednesday, May 8! Whether you are visiting Vancouver for the first time or just looking for pre-game activities downtown, here are five things to do near Rogers Arena before watching a Canucks playoff game.
Stroll Through the Scenic Seawall
Vancouver is known for its scenic walking and biking routes, and what better way to spend an afternoon before the game than to stroll, or cycle, through the Vancouver seawall. The surrounding area near Rogers Arena is the False Creek seawall. You can walk anywhere from English Bay Beach to Science World on the north side, or you can cycle your way through the south side anywhere from Science World to Kitsilano Beach and beyond. Either way, you can experience breathtaking views of the city and the North Shore mountains before getting ready for the game!
