“Like many travel destinations, Fairmont Pacific Rim will have a smartly decorated tall green tree adorning its lobby during the holiday season. But beside it will be another tree of sorts. The trunk will be formed by wooden chairs piled atop one another, the leaves and branches shaped by shimmering metallic pieces hanging from the ceiling. “We wanted to give the community something different,” says Phil Barnes, the hotel’s general manager. And they’ve done so by pairing up with Versace Home Vancouver for a chic take on Christmas.”
