Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver Named #1 Hotel in Canada by U.S News & World Report

We are thrilled to share the news that U.S News & World Report has unveiled its annual ‘Best Hotels Ranking,’ naming Fairmont Pacific Rim as the overall #1 Hotel in Canada! Fairmont Pacific Rim takes the number one spot among an elite portfolio of luxury properties around the world named ‘Best Hotels’ in the new 2020 ranking.

February 4th, 2020

We celebrate this recognition on the eve of our 10th Anniversary, officially opening our doors on February 5, 2010. U.S News & World Report recognized Fairmont Pacific Rim for its downtown location set on the Coal Harbour waterfront, award-winning dining and cocktail experiences at Botanist, The Lobby Lounge and RawBar, and giovane café + eatery. Nods to the service offerings include the luxurious resort-style Willow Stream Spa, rooftop pool, and high-tech amenities; and most evident according to guest reviews and recent visitors, the exceptional level of service offered by the hotels’ colleagues.

The 10th annual Best Hotels rankings evaluate more than 30,000 luxury properties across the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean; those ranking in the top 10% in each of these regions are eligible for a Gold badge. Of the more than 30,000 luxury properties and resorts evaluated by U.S. News travel editors, fewer than 5,000 achieved “Best” status.
