The holidays are fast approaching, and what better way to make your spirits bright than to concoct your own Botanist cocktail from the comfort of your home.
As part of Botanist’s new seasonal winter menu, “Bananarama Backflip” will make you go bananas with festive, warm flavours curated by our very own Grant Sceney. With hints of banana, cinnamon and aged rum, this cocktail is sure to delight both the naughty and nice.
Bananarama Backflip
By Grant Sceney, Creative Beverage Director at Fairmont Pacific Rim
– 2oz aged rum
– 0.75oz maple syrup (1:1)
– 0.5oz creamo
– half of a banana
– 1 whole egg
– 1 pinch cinnamon
Method:
– Add all ingredients into a blender
– Blend
– Add 2 ice cubes, and blend again until ice is diluted
– Pour into coupe
Garnish: Freshly grated cinnamon
