Artfully Inspired Cocktails

March 31st, 2022

The Lobby Lounge & RawBar has added a collection of cocktails, inspired by the Douglas Coupland exhibition, Red Light Green Light, which is currently on display in the Pacific Gallery at Fairmont Pacific Rim.

‘Dirty Harry’ is a vodka based cocktail with dry vermouth, ginger, and pickled cucumber named after Douglas Coupland’s ‘Dirty Harry, 2021’ artwork, covered in glass and blown mercury glass hanging by the elevator entrance within Fairmont Pacific Rim.

‘Clint’ pulls inspiration from the Wild West, with blueberries instead of bullets. Named after Douglas Coupland’s ‘Clint, 2021’, the cocktail is made with rye whisky, blueberry oleo, green chartreuse, lemon, soda, and sage (pictured in lead image).

Tokyo Twilight

Tokyo Twilight

‘Tokyo Twilight’ is gin based cocktail inspired by the Japanese movie from 1957 which stars actor Ineko Arima, who can found in Douglas Coupland’s prints located on the second floor of the hotel. The cocktail blends sake, sencha tea, ginger, basil, grapefruit into a refreshing sip.
