Artist In-Residence at Fairmont Pacific Rim

It’s no secret that we love live music! As Vancouver’s living room, The Lobby Lounge is known in Vancouver for its daily live music which celebrates Canadian emerging artists with the occasional impromptu guest performance.

In a celebration where music truly takes centre stage, we launched an Artist In-Residence Program late 2018 following the unveiling of our new state-of-the-art performance stage. The Artist In-Residence program allows us to play host a visiting performer who resides at Fairmont Pacific Rim. While visiting us, each resident artist has the opportunity to take in musical inspiration from the west coast lifestyle, enjoy the time and space for creativity and productivity to master their craft, and exhibit their talents through a series of dedicated performances at The Lobby Lounge which can range from three days to over a week.

The artistic exchange supports the professional development of emerging artists with an exciting opportunity for a cultural exchange, networking opportunities within our local music community, and it fosters the engagement and growth of the music community.

Fairmont Pacific Rim is proud to be a creative incubator for artists and to bring new talent and sounds to Vancouver for our community to experience.
