Botanist Bar is on the road to Mexico for the third annual, highly-anticipated North America’s 50 Best Bars awards program in San Miguel de Allende on April 22nd to April 24th. Ahead of the awards, Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Creative Beverage Director, Grant Sceney is set to visit two award-winning bars and a glamping experience for a series of guest shifts and sunset party to showcase Botanist Bar’s culinary-forward, whimsical creations to the Mexico City cocktail scene.

Friday, April 19 from 5:00pm onwards
Botanist Bars’ first stop is at Café de Nadie, ranked No. 25 in North America’s 50 Best Bars in 2023, an innovative space and bar in Mexico city, where guests can enjoy a delicious cocktail while listening to carefully curated music in a high fidelity all analog stereo system. Café de Nadie works with a network of local farmers from arca tierra that use regenerative agriculture to ensure a sustainable minimum carbon footprint supply. Botanist Bar will have its guest shift at Café de Nadie on Friday, April 19.

Next up is Rayo, currently No. 17 for North America’s 50 Best Bars; they’re bar program fuses an array of Mexican and international spirits that tell stories and expertly accompany the sharing plates offered at the bar. On Saturday, April 20, Rayo will host Botanist Bar, for a guest shift along with four other North American establishments, including Miladys, Cafe La Trova, Library by the Sea, Pompette and Allegory.

Sunday, April 21
Lastly, NONU, a glamping lifestyle experience in Querétaro, Mexico, will bring together seven renowned bars including Botanist Bar, for a Sunset Party featuring an unmatched cocktail experience, a DJ and outstanding vineyard views on Sunday, April 21.
Following these bar guest shifts, Grant Sceney will head to San Miguel de Allende for North America’s 50 Best Bars 2024 announcement. Stay tuned next Tuesday, April 23, for the live ceremony as Botanist Bar’s new ranking will be revealed.
