Pool & Cabana
Escape to paradise this summer at Fairmont Pacific Rim’s rooftop pool and cabana. Surrounded by a backdrop of mountain and harbour views, our palm-fringed pool is lined with chaise loungers and cabanas fit for families and friends. Offering the city’s best summer retreat, enjoy lounging in the sun, refreshing sips and bites, and poolside activities, all while our Cabana team is on hand to offer personalized service all day long. A live DJ is available at the cabana on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Pac Rim Patio Pop-Up
This year’s Pac Rim Patio Pop Up will feature a new Picnic in the Park concept, inspired by Oakridge Park’s vision of weaving nature into the lives of its guests and being the cultural anchor for our neighborhood. The Picnic in the Park experience offers a menu of gourmet picnic baskets and refreshing summer sips to enjoy on the sun-filled, lively community patio featuring daily, curated live-music performances. The baskets feature a menu of delectable sandwiches and accoutrements including house-made pasta salad, fresh red pepper dip, crudité, and freshly baked cookies, perfect for patio dining or take-away to enjoy while exploring the city.
Starting on June 1, the Pac Rim Park Patio is open daily from 11:30 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. with a full food and beverage menu and live music. View the menu here.
Bicycles and e-Bikes
Have we mentioned our bike program is back in full-swing? Drop on by our guest services team to rent one of our brand new Mercedes-Benz bicycles or eBikes for the day, and head over to the seawall for a relaxing cycle with epic views. The seawall is a popular running, cycling, and walking trail for Vancouverites—get out around 10:00am or 2:00pm for the best experience. We also offer digital bike routes and tours through our new RunGo app which go right to your personal cell phone.
Hotel Art Tour
Fairmont Pacific Rim established its art collection under the direction of owners and developers Westbank and the Peterson Group when the hotel opened in 2010. A collection that is not themed, but rather driven by interest and passion – bringing art and artists into all aspects of the hotel’s design and development. The Pacific Gallery at Fairmont Pacific Rim opened in late 2021 and it features a rotating roster of artists ranging from those local to Vancouver to internationally recognized, with their collection displayed on the hotel’s second floor. Explore the public art and architectural detail at the property, beginning outside and gradually making your way inside to the works throughout the public areas of the hotel.
Botanist Brunch
Grab brunch with the entire family at Botanist, available every Saturday and Sunday. Executive Chef Hector Laguna’s menu depicts the culinary abundance and botany of the Pacific Northwest region – produce rooted from the soil, sustainably sourced seafood, and organic agricultural methods from backyard suppliers.
