For those who have never heard you perform, how would you describe what style of music can they can expect?

Acoustic renditions of all your favourites! Everything from the Beatles to Coldplay and Taylor Swift, and a few originals too!

What instruments you play?

I can play the guitar, piano, drums and percussion, as well as vocals.

How did you discover your passion and talent for music?

I started playing drums when I was 13. I had nobody to jam with so I picked up my brother’s guitar and taught myself how to play a few chords, but because I couldn’t play anyone else’s songs, I started writing my own songs.

How long you have been practicing your craft?

I have been playing since age 13, and I have been doing it professionally since I was 16, and full time since I was 18.

Favourite song to play?

That’s a tough one to answer, but right now, maybe “Message In a Bottle” by The Police.

Favourite song to listen to?

Anything by Ed Sheeran

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I don’t really drink (an anomaly amongst musicians)!

On your day off we would find you…

Nowhere…. I’m very good at hiding! I work 5-6 nights a week, so on my days off I like to keep it simple and play sports and spend time with my wife.

Favourite cocktail spot in the city & why?

I’m not much of a drinker, but when I do drink, it’s at the Shebeen Whisk(e)y house in Gastown. Unbelievable selection of Scotch!

Number one must-do thing in Vancouver?

Buy an umbrella!
