Buy a Cocktail, Give a Meal

Jeff Savage, Botanist Bar’s Head Bartender, is pairing up with Save On Meats and Ketel One to provide free meals to marginalized and at-risk members of our community who often go unseen. His cocktail, ‘Cold Hands, Warm Hearts’, is a riff on a moscow mule that re-purposes scrap herbs and citrus that might otherwise be wasted, and comes garnished with a Save On Meats token.

August 23rd, 2019

The Save On Meats token program was created to give back to those in need, through the purchase of a $2.25 token that is redeemable for a sandwich inside the diner. Since 2012, the program has served up over 2,000,000 delicious meals to residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. For more information about the Token Program, visit www.saveonmeats.ca or @fatherofcups on instagram.
