On November 19, Fairmont Pacific Rim, in partnership with the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA) and Air Canada will stage ‘The Art of Design: A Celebration of Canadian Fashion from East to West,’ showcasing both current and upcoming collections from MARAM, Rock ’N Karma, Stephan Caras, and Matlo Atelier.

To celebrate Fairmont Pacific Rim’s 8th annual fashion show, a limited number of exclusive VIP experience tickets will be available that include admission and VIP seating at the fashion show featuring cocktails and canapes by the team at The Lobby Lounge, trunk show access, and a fashion-inspired three course dinner at the award-winning Botanist restaurant, with a designer meet and greet. The package is available from $159.00 CAD per person and tickets can be purchased online.

Five designers, each distinct, will present collections that showcases their brand – high-end “off-duty luxury” for Montreal-based MARAM; streetwear chic with original motifs from Toronto’s Rock ‘N Karma; the sophisticated and feminine “pret a cutoure” line from Toronto’s Stephan Caras with its luxurious Italian and French fabrics; from Vancouver’s Catherine Regehr designs that combine unusual textures and luxurious fabrications with modern sensibility; and Vancouver-based Matlo Atelier with its signature sexy and sophisticated evening wear along with bespoke made-to-measure suiting.

The designers will host a trunk show following the fashion event on November 19 from 7:15pm-8:30pm, which will be open to the public; allowing the opportunity for Vancouver.
