New Spa Treatments unveiled at Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver
Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Pacific Rim has become Canada’s first hotel spa to partner with Biologique Recherche (BR), a prestigious couture skincare line designed and produced only in France. The coveted BR cosmetic skincare brand focuses on a promise of state-of-the-art efficacy along with personalized product and treatments.
Willow Stream Spa has also debuted six new body treatments, including the ultimate ‘Fountain of Youth’ featuring Vancouver-based Beauty Through Balance products. This all natural and authentically local treatment gives new meaning to ‘sea to sky,’ and takes its inspiration from the ocean, rainforests and mountains. The products have been created with indigenous ingredients from British Columbia including, ethically hand harvested Pacific seaweed and intertidal glacial clay from remote pristine areas of British Columbia. The raw ocean and mountain ingredients used in the formulas contribute to the restorative power of nature and focus on achieving mind and body balance through the benefits of aromatherapy and Thalassotherapy, the holistic practice of using raw ocean components for therapeutic healing and wellbeing.
The Willow Stream team is trained and certified in the Biologique brand methodology of personalized care for an individual Skin Instant©, a term coined by BR to describe the epidermis as an individual canvas; no two skins are alike, nor should be treated as such, and therefore targets a personalized approach to each Skin Instant©. Willow Stream Spa will feature three signature custom facials: Custom Glow, a personalized facial that includes an in-depth skin analysis and one of BR’s signature boosters; Second Skin, a revolutionary treatment that provides a genuine alternative to conventional fillers; and the VIP 02 a luxurious oxygenating and balancing ritual suitable for all Skin Instants©.
Other signature experiences include the Coastal Mountain Retreat, an exclusive line of locally customized aromatherapy products designed by the spa’s resident aroma-therapist, Shannon Abbott, who created a custom blend of cypress, cedar wood and clary sage to highlight Vancouver’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the forests that line its shores. While the Digital Detox treatment helps combat the busy world by using spa elements and essential oils of grapefruit and black pepper to create an invigorating and ultra relaxing healing journey for a mindful escape.
