Vancouver, Canada (April 22, 2026) – Botanist Bar, within Vancouver’s only Forbes Five-Star Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel, has once again earned honour for the city, being named the 38th best bar in North America by the esteemed North America’s 50 Best Bars Academy during an awards ceremony held Wednesday evening.
Botanist Bar ,under the leadership of Creative Beverage Director Grant Sceney, is located in the award-winning Botanist restaurant. Inspired by the principles of botany, Botanist Bar celebrates the Pacific Northwest’s unique biodiversity in its approach; culinary-forward cocktails blend the union of science and nature together to deliver an inventive and sophisticated drinking experience.

The 2026 ranking is indicative of the best bar experiences voted by the Academy, comprised of 300 anonymous voters, made up of cocktail experts, educators, drinks media, journalists, bartenders and bar owners from Canada, USA, Mexico and the Caribbean.
