We are pleased to share that we are launching our inaugural TASCHEN Author Event on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 with TASCHEN editor and author, Jessica Hundley. The experience includes a welcome drink in the TASCHEN Lounge, an intimate discussion with the author in the Discovery Theatre, and a three-course private group dinner in Botanist with Jessica Hundley.

Jessica Hundley is the editor of TASCHEN’s The Secret Teachings of All Ages and the multivolume Library of Esoterica series. She is an author, filmmaker and journalist. She has written for the likes of Vogue, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times, and has authored books on artists including Dennis Hopper, David Lynch, and Gram Parsons.

Enjoy a three course course dinner beginning at 6:30pm from Executive Chef Hector Laguna for $148+ per person. Additionally, each guest will receive a personally signed copy of one of Jessica Hundley’s books. Please note that taxes and gratuity are not included in the pricing, and there is an option to include wine pairings for an additional cost.

Located on the second floor of the hotel, TASCHEN is one of only two retail locations in Canada completely dedicated to TASCHEN, the publisher of the “most beautiful books on the planet”. The new library at Fairmont Pacific Rim offers a full catalogue of TASCHEN titles.

Founded by Benedikt Taschen in 1980, today TASCHEN is renowned globally. The TASCHEN Library is open daily from 10:00am – 6:30pm (12:00pm – 5:00pm on weekends) with a team of retail experts on-hand to guide guests through the library and find the perfect coffee table book or souvenir to bring home.
